The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine (regarding Right to Defense Protection of the Suspected and the Accused Persons and the Defendant)

The bill (Reg. No.6540) supplements clause 44 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine with the new principles that give the right to a defender for access to the case immediately after they submit documents confirming their authorities, but not later that in 24 hours since the receipt of defender´s appeal on the access to the case.
